WUN Global Research Group – Asia SDGs held a webinar entitled “Translating collaborative research into sustainable development impact” on 10th December 2021.

We were honored to have chairman of the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy, Dr. Eugene Chien to share his experience about SDGs development in Taiwan. Dr, Chien detailed many SDG-related Awards in Taiwan which has supported and encouraged many companies and universities to invest more efforts in SDG and ESG. In the second session, Prof. Mohammed Farid from University of Auckland, Prof. Chung-Ying Lin from NCKU and Dr. Helene Fung from CUHK shared their international collaborative research experiences and how they apply the findings in their research to real-life solutions, respectively in renewable energy, psychosocial analysis and ageing studies. Finally, Vice President of office of Research and Development, NCKU Prof. Tsair-Fuh Lin, talked about NCKU’s attainment of SDGs, including SDGs-related research projects and how the research findings has helped the making of policies.
