The National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) is inviting colleagues from global partner universities to participate in a conference that focuses on three main areas of addressing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Asia:
In 2021, NCKU initiated the WUN Global Research Group – SDGs in Asia with support from WUN. In the invitation for this event, they say, “We are glad to have researchers around the world involved in our research group, creating collaboration and ideating effective solutions to the most critical issues facing in Asia. At the end of 2022, the research teams are expected to reach a milestone and move forward to the next phase. They will take this opportunity to share their findings and identify opportunities through international collaboration.”
Speakers include Dr. Mohd Wira Mohd Shafiei, Director of the Centre for Global Sustainability Studies, Universiti Sains Malaysia, and Prof. Tony Capon, Director of Monash Sustainable Development Institute who will share their insights into Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) leadership and practices.
During the event, NCKU will announce a call for new proposals and the group’s 2023 strategy. They invite you to join the event and engage with the global research community involved in this consortium.
